Isinglass - Finings 20 g
Clarifies wine and beer
Isinglass is extracted from the swim bladder of fish and comes in the form of very light flocks that immediately dissolve in water, building a perfectly colourless solution. At the nose, the product has no particular smell, only a light note of gelatin.
Ideal for the clarification of white wines when added to bentonite to obtain quick sedimentation, eliminating from wines a light clouding and an escessive dose of tannins. In red wines, Isinglass perfomswell on the removal of green ans astringent tannins. Combined with gelatin and egg albumin unpleasant wine factors are removed.
